Signal was a leading provider of third-party administration, repair, logistics and insurance services for wireless handset insurance programs in the U.S.

The company also managed warranty and extended service contract programs through its subsidiary, Service Contract Solutions, as well as owned a Bermuda-based captive, Telecom Re, which retained a portion of the underwriting risk relating to the handset insurance programs.
