Access Point Financial is a hospitality financing firm offering full-service lending.

Launched in 2011, Access Point Financial specializes in capital expenditure loans and transitional mortgage loans to franchisees of major hotel brands throughout the United States. The company develops lending programs that are endorsed, marketed and supported by the franchisors (i.e., the hotel brands).

Introduction to Clients & Partners

Stone Point introduced Access Point to our network of lending relationships to help secure warehouse funding. Additionally, Stone Point introduced Access Point to prospective borrowers and sources of business, such as franchisors and CMBS special servicers, as well as to other Trident portfolio companies and relationships who completed Access Point’s securitizations.

Operational Assistance & Governance

Stone Point worked closely with the Access Point management team in the formation of the business, in particular assisting with recruiting and selecting third-party servicers and vendors.

Exit Strategy

Stone Point facilitated the sale of Access Point to a partner who has significant ability to contribute to the company’s ongoing growth.
